Center for Child Care and Family Resources

The University of Utah Center for Child Care and Family Resources is here to assist University faculty, staff, and students in their search for quality child care services. We recognize that child care is one of the most important decisions that you will make for your child and for your family.

Department of Family and Consumer Studies

The Family and Consumer Studies (FCS) Department at the University of Utah operates and maintains the Child and Family Development Center. Family and Consumer Studies (FCS) is an interdisciplinary department where faculty and students examine how the social, economic, political and physical environments affect families, individuals, and consumers. The teaching, research, and service done in the Department focuses on expanding our understanding of how the welfare of individuals, and the families in which they live, are affected by external forces and internal forces.
