What is MAPS?

The University of Utah’s Moving Across Places (MAPs) was a study that took place where a research team surveyed residents’ perceptions and activities before and after major local construction projects.  The research was sponsored by the National Cancer Institute and results were published in professional journals and summarized for national, state, and local leaders (all participant identities remain confidential).  The results of the study have been important and useful for cancer prevention research and for local and national community leaders.
